First Church of the Nazarene
This project included construction of a 37,782 gross square-foot, two-story classroom and worship hall building. The building construction consisted of masonry bearing walls at the first floor level with a brick
and EFIS veneer. The second floor was precast concrete planks and metal stud framed walls. A structural steel prefabricated metal building supplied by Varco-Pruden supported the standing seam metal roof structure. The project also included associated site and utility work. The second phase of the project was interior renovations to the existing church sanctuary area.
The Nielsen Partnership
Pastor Kerry Willis says, “Nielsen has certainly put 100% of themselves into our project. We couldn’t be happier with their involvement. The experience they’ve gained working with so many churches is evident in their actions and consideration to our congregation. No pressure . . .just sincere, caring people.”
“Nielsen did an excellent job constructing our classroom and worship hall addition. They delivered a high quality and attractive building that has become the showcase of our facility. I was very impressed with their focus on quality throughout the project,” says Associate Pastor Joe Stoner.
