Culpeper Hospital – Near Term

Special Features

This project included renovations of an existing wing, morgue, and enclosure of the ambulance bay to expand the emergency room with a canopy for ambulance parking. The Culpeper Near Term Project started in October 2005 and was completed in August of 2006. The renovations consisted of complete renovations of the existing oncology, cardiovascular wing, and morgue, as well as an addition of eight exam rooms in the ER along with a newly constructed canopy to load and unload patients at the ER. All renovation work was performed inside occupied spaces and coordination with the hospital to occupy around construction went very well. Nielsen subsidiary Legacy Cabinets built custom desks and casework for the interior of the building, as pictured above.
