University of Virginia Neurodiagnostic/Neurology Clinic Renovation

Special Features

This project consisted of renovating the ground floor of the primary care center. It was a two-phase project, with the first phase including the EEG and ENG labs. The second phase included the outpatient clinic, exam rooms, faculty offices, waiting rooms, and procedure rooms. The building was completely gutted, and renovated, with about 12,200 square feet of renovation.

The Nielsen Partnership

Mark Stanis, Senior Project Manager, UVA Facilities Planning and Construction Department, thought that Nielsen did an outstanding job on the project. He says, “The quality of the work was excellent. The communication from the contractor to the user was good. Rick Truslow (superintendent) made sure that everyone in the area knew what was going on.”
