Kings Grant Retirement Community

Special Features

King’s Grant Retirement Community is a comprehensive retirement/nursing home community that offers up to 250 senior citizens a choice of living areas ranging from residences to long-term nursing care facilities. The residential village includes single-family and duplex units for 79 residents. As an added value, residents in the village were given the opportunity to select interior color schemes and other options offered to customize their units.

The community features a “main street” appeal with inviting lounges, a library, arts and crafts room, a garden area, and a beauty salon and barber shop. In addition, an auditorium and game and meeting rooms are available for special events. Residents enjoy meals in the dining room, which overlooks the scenic campus and lakes.

The Nielsen Partnership

Charles Lotts, Vice President of Finance at Sunnyside, believes that Nielsen’s early involvement in the project helped construction move ahead. “We brought [Nielsen] into the design phase. They helped us decide on the best construction methods to use and their costs.”

John Neff, Nielsen CEO, added, “We embrace our relationships with long-term communities like King’s Grant. These projects reinforce our dedication to remaining sensitive to the needs of residents and developing continuum of care communities. Our teamwork on this campus strengthens this commitment.”
