This project consists of a 16,000-square-foot office/warehouse facility for Design Electric, an electrical construction company. This tilt-up construction was built as one building consisting of a warehouse and office. The office portion is two level, with 4,400 square feet on each floor. The downstairs consists of (9) office spaces, kitchen, conference room, and lobby. The upstairs portion is unfinished for future addition of offices. The warehouse is a large open space used for storage of materials needed on construction projects. The warehouse includes a dock door for large deliveries, and two other doors for small deliveries. This warehouse stores materials such as wire, conduit, equipment, etc., for jobs in progress.
The Nielsen Partnership
Valley Area Manager Cathy Kim says, “We were very impressed with the project. Roy Gooden really worked to keep the construction site clean. We always had good communication with Roy and he took the time to consider our needs in finding solutions to jobsite problems.
On the tilt up day, I was very impressed with the whole process, the way Roy and his team worked together to make it a smooth operation. The safety director was there on site, as well as Thomas, Tim, Tony, Kevin Bailey, and many others including Don Hicklin, which showed a company team interest!”
